This year I had the opportunity to attend the Fearless Conference which took place in Porto.
It was a unique experience for me, because I was in a picturesque town accompanied by a number of colleagues from all over the world! I met old friends, Evert, Axel, Leo, Lanny, Erika, Dorota, Michal, Frank and I also made numerous new ones, Isabelle, Vivian, Miranda, Damon, Peter, Christiaan, Benaissa, Ronald, Jesse, Sergio Cueto, Sergio Lopez, Huy, Kelly, Dennis, Chio, Rocio, Ufuk, Mukesh, Manuel, Gabriela, Mike and many others whose names unfortunately I cannot remember….
We spent three amazing days at wonderful Porto, sharing our knowledge and experiences on our profession, based on the relevant the conditions in each country!!
I also met and shot (although we did not have much time) Guilherme & Patricia and Luis & Joana, two couples that live in Porto. Amazing people with astonishing smiles and fantastic mood… We had a night stroll around the town and took some wonderful shots. Guilherme thank you for introducing me to the traditional Portuguese cuisine and for all the beautiful things we talked about. May you always be well my friend.
Huy – Sergio may you continue being so committed in what you do!!! You are a constant inspiration to everyone!!

Recenty, I had the chance to visit Venice, one of the most beautiful European towns… and the best thing was that I was there at the time that the Carnival of Venice officially begins!!! MAGIC!! What can you say about this town.. during the carnival it feels like you have travelled in past times! Most venetians, of all ages, participate at the carnival and create a unique atmosphere… since they grow up in that culture, you can see even the youngsters or the elders to act as if they are actors in a great performace, they walk around in a slow, noble pace, transeferring you back in time. I believe that the best thing to do if you ever visit Venice at this time of the year, is to rent a costume and participate. There are really no words to describe the feeling. Besides these certain costumes, however, you can see lots of other different costumes full of imagination, like a tree that cought my eye! Wonderful was also the famous captain Jack Sparrow who, through his characteristic moves, made as all feel that the movie was being filmed around us!!!
I wish you all have the opportunity to visit the Carnival of Venice once, and live this amazing athmosphere.

A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to be in London for work and at the same time seize the opportunity to walk  and see as much as I could from the most multi-ethnic european capital. Truth be told, there is not much you can do in two days, but if you really want it, you can see a lot. This is a city where, apart from the sites, there are so many things to do, like watching a play or going to the opera etc. I made a promise to myself to visit London again either for work or pleasure since there are still so many paths to explore…
Enjoy some every day life shots of the city … and there is more to come…

Last year I had the opportunity to be in Lucca, Tuscany, along with my friends Adrian Wood and Nikos Dimou, to shoot a wedding which was organised by the talented Mexican wedding planner Cindy Salgado who lives and works in Tuscany. Except for her inspired work and her fantastic associates, Cindy is an amazing person. We had the chance to discuss a lot about her work and her life there. She is married with Andrea and they have an adorable little boy. During our stroll in Certado, a small town which looks a lot like Tuscany, with the old castle and the wonderful shops that seem to belong in past times, we had a shooting of Cindy and Andrea.

Cindy thank you for your hospitality. I wish all the best to you and your family… and of course to keep organising wonderful weddings like this one.
